Intelligent integration opens up a new track
The integration of the Internet of Things and AI technology is driving the upgrade of ceramic thick film resistors from single sensing elements to intelligent modules. It can calibrate oil level data in real time and transmit it to the in vehicle system through CAN bus, with an error rate of less than 0.5%. In the industrial field, Honeywell's corrosion-resistant ceramic thick film resistor module has been applied to the monitoring system of offshore oil platform storage tanks, and can work stably for more than 100000 hours in extreme environments ranging from -55 ℃ to 200 ℃. These high value-added products have driven the industry's gross profit margin to 35% -40%, which is 10 percentage points higher than traditional products.
Chinese manufacturers deploy intelligent resistance adjustment technology
The newly built digital production line of Dongguan Huake Electronics introduces an AI laser resistance adjustment system, which improves the accuracy of oil meter resistance from ± 1% to ± 0.5% and reduces production costs by 30%. The "Three Defenses" (moisture-proof, shockproof, corrosion-resistant) series products developed by it have entered the supply chain of Xiaopeng and Ideal, with a good product rate of 99.5% for automotive applications. Integrated solution accelerates penetration
The industry is transitioning from discrete resistors to modular solutions. The latest IHVR series released by Vishay integrates fuel gauge resistors with Hall sensors, and transmits real-time fuel volume data through the CAN bus, increasing the system response speed to 10ms. Continental Group has launched an intelligent resistor module with self diagnostic function, which can detect abnormal resistance caused by fuel impurities and achieve a warning accuracy of 95%.
Analysts point out that with the implementation of the new ISO 21498 fuel monitoring standard, fuel gauge resistors with wide temperature stability and data exchange capabilities will become a market necessity, and the penetration rate of intelligent products is expected to exceed 40% by 2025.
